Mr. Qi Ye is the Founder and President of CHI Consulting Engineers, which was founded in 2016 and has a vision of improving safety, performance and service life of bridges and structures. For the past seven years, CHI has grown significantly and completed many award-winning projects. Prior to founding CHI, Mr. Ye was a Principal at Weidlinger Associates, a structure engineering firm headquartered in New York City, and Managing Director of Weidlinger International, which provided engineering services in Asia. Mr. Ye holds professional engineer licenses in many states in US and has 30+ years of experience in bridge analysis and design. He has expertise in designing and retrofitting various types of bridges, especially suspension bridges. Mr. Ye has successfully led many award-winning projects during his career. In 2015, he was named as one of the 50 Asian Americans in Business by Asian American Business Development Center.
